Normal is basically the equivalent of "Beginner" in the original. You described the main reason as to why low-levels shouldn't play.Ģ. I'd wait until at least level 5 to poke your head into Hard just so your stalker sight or shotgun penetration isn't basically nonexistant.ġ. Honestly low levels biggest problem is the fact that at low levels, you are still waiting for your passive stuff to not be garbage. Level has got jack **** to do with affinity for teamwork, though getting some time under your belt first does help. I've seen fresh faced level zero medics telling me "We bought the game yesterday" do a better job healing people than level 20 pro star medics swinging by a normal server just to run off on their own to pad out their kill count. ![]() So Hard, unlike suicidal or HoE, I can understand people checking out ASAP even if they are not super pro yet. ![]() ![]() Hard will give you a better feel for the game than Normal, while normal quickly becomes "Even somebody as bad at this as me literally can't die to anything but hans going very wrong". Hard is basically when the game "turns on" because normal mode you can get wedged into a corner by a pair of fleshpounds with a level 20 medic who doesn't give a **** about you and still come out alive. If it is just hard, then I wouldn't figure low levels to be a problem.
